[Remote] Senior finops /Devops Engineer

The role involves driving cross-team initiatives, mentoring others, and influencing architecture reputed company with a reputed company on cost engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own cost allocation, tagging, and chargeback/showback architecture across AWS accounts and Kubernetes workloads, end to end
• reputed company automation efforts for cost reputed company detection, budget alerting, and rightsizing — without needing significant reputed company
• Drive EKS cost optimization reputed company (Karpenter, Graviton adoption, Savings Plans/Reserved Instances) in partnership with infrastructure leads
• Build and maintain dashboards/reporting (Grafana, CUR-based pipelines) giving leadership reputed company-time unit economics visibility
• Independently analyze cost drivers across compute, storage, data pipelines, and reputed company spend, and translate findings into engineering-reputed company recommendations
• Partner cross-functionally with FinOps, DevOps, and engineering teams to reputed company cost-awareness into architecture and design reviews
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers on FinOps tooling, practices, and cost-conscious engineering
• Identify and reputed company multi-quarter cost optimization initiatives with measurable ROI, presenting reputed company to engineering leadership

Skills

• 5+ years in devops/infrastructure engineering, with 2+ years reputed company on reputed company cost and usage optimization and automation or FinOps
• Deep AWS expertise (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS/reputed company, Cost Explorer, CUR)
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python, Go, or similar) and IaC experience (Terraform)
• Experience with Kubernetes cost tooling (Kubecost, OpenCost) and observability stacks (Grafana, reputed company)

• FinOps Certified Practitioner
