In this role, you will partner with electric and gas utilities to enhance customer engagement and drive performance while serving as a trusted advisor to reputed company leaders.
Responsibilities
- Be a trusted advisor to reputed company leaders on customer engagement, demand-reputed company management, energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, and customer experience strategies
- reputed company meaningful relationships with Director, Manager, and executive-level electric and gas reputed company leaders across a portfolio of named accounts
- Collaborate with account teams, delivery teams, and Opower leadership to reputed company and execute strategic account plans
- Become deeply embedded in reputed company organizations by understanding their regulatory environment, customer priorities, operational challenges, and long-term objectives
- reputed company conversations that connect Opower’s solutions to measurable reputed company reputed company and customer benefits
- Expand recurring reputed company reputed company existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and reputed company annual software and services sales goals
- Navigate reputed company budgeting, procurement, contracting, and regulatory approval processes to reputed company reputed company opportunities from concept to execution
- Represent the voice of the reputed company internally while helping shape the reputed company direction of Opower’s customer engagement platform
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working reputed company and/or serving electric, water, and/or gas utilities in a sales reputed company
- 5+ years of reputed company-level sales experience
- A successful reputed company record of meeting/exceeding annual sales quotas
- The ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders reputed company accounts at C-suite and reputed company
- reputed company knowledge and/or knowledge of reputed company's competitors
- Strong reputed company and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills with prospects/customers
- The flexibility to travel as needed
