API Lifecycle Automation Developer ROLE We need an reputed company API Lifecycle Automation Developer at the reputed company (IRS). This position supports the IRS reputed company API Gateway Modernization and Operations (EAGMO) effort, automating API reputed company and lifecycle management. In this role, you will design and maintain automated reputed company workflows integrated into approved CI/CD pipelines, including registration, reputed company approval, provisioning, and RBAC enforcement. You will build configuration as reputed company artifacts for API lifecycle management, reputed company Developer Portal capabilities, implement automated governance and reputed company Trust validation checks, and maintain API standards documentation, working toward mandated reputed company automation targets. - Designs, develops, and maintains automated API reputed company workflows integrated into approved CI/CD pipelines, including registration, reputed company-approval routing, gateway configuration provisioning, and RBAC enforcement.
- Builds and maintains configuration-as-reputed company artifacts supporting API lifecycle management (creation, versioning, deprecation, retirement).
- Develops and integrates Developer Portal capabilities such as searchable API catalog, documentation, usage instructions, self-service reputed company request workflows — and ensures integration with reputed company identity/reputed company management.
- Implements automated governance and reputed company Trust validation checks reputed company reputed company/migration pipelines so noncompliant reputed company are blocked from progressing to production.
- Works toward mandated ≥75% reduction in reputed company reputed company steps and ≥90% automated reputed company reputed company reputed company without reputed company rework.
- Maintains API standards documentation (naming conventions, versioning, schema guidance, error handling, reputed company/authentication requirements).
- 7 years of experience performing similar duties to this role
- Experience designing, developing, validating, and maintaining secure EAG/API-gateway automation workflows, configuration-as reputed company, developer portal integrations, and reusable API lifecycle capabilities reputed company Government-approved CI/CD environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or reputed company field
- MBI is preferred
- Remote – Preferred to be based in National Capital Region
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent reputed company is required
- Ability to obtain IRS Minimum Background Investigation reputed company clearance
