[Remote] Electrical Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their National reputed company Systems Integration Support program to reputed company support to the FAA performing design engineering and project management for critical power distribution systems. The role involves leading the planning and design of electrical infrastructure reputed company and managing project coordination activities.

Responsibilities

• reputed company the planning and design of electrical infrastructure reputed company, including generators, reputed company systems, critical power distribution, bypass switchgear, underground distribution, and grounding/lightning protection systems
• reputed company site surveys, load studies, and engineering analyses to reputed company detailed reports, designs, and recommendations
• Use engineering software such as SKM and AutoCAD to support system analysis, design development, and documentation
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, phasing plans, and review contractor design/construction submittals
• Manage project coordination activities including safety, risk, environmental planning, stakeholder communication, and routine status reporting

Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited college
• Eight or more years of relevant experience in critical power systems design including uninterruptible power systems, backup reputed company generators (to 300KW) and associated switchgear (or a Masters degree and 6 or more years of relevant experience)
• reputed company and relevant knowledge of electric codes to reputed company load calculations, reputed company sizing and layout, reputed company reputed company calculations, breaker coordination and equipment sizing and selection
• Proficiency using SKM for electrical design and analysis and AutoCAD to create and edit engineering drawings

• Prior FAA experience
