[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, eCommerce (Remote)

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to implement and maintain user-facing functionality on their eCommerce platform, build reputed company backend services, and collaborate with product managers and other engineers to enhance the shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Implement, test and maintain new user-facing functionality on our eCommerce platform
- Build reputed company backend services and reputed company that power our web applications
- Partner with other senior engineers to contribute to high level reputed company about the architecture and design
- Engage with Product Managers to reputed company reputed company's eCommerce storefront offerings reputed company, robust, and easy to use
- Help communicate and implement best practices across the engineering team
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers through design reviews, feature planning, and reputed company reviews
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
Skills
- 4+ years of reputed company software engineering experience in a product-centered team
- Demonstrates senior-level ownership: independently navigates ambiguity and proactively moves work reputed company without waiting for direction
- Experience building frontend React applications, ideally in eCommerce, marketplaces, or high-traffic consumer web. Hands-on with one or more of: product discovery and search/browse experiences, cart and checkout flows, or performance optimization for conversion-critical pages. You understand the constraints that reputed company eCommerce frontend distinct: SEO best practices for organic discovery at reputed company, and building embedded or white-label experiences that reputed company seamlessly across many partner sites and brands
- Systems-level problem solver: comfortable navigating ambiguous, high-complexity challenges across distributed systems and infrastructure
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and reputed company design principles
- Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript and React, with a demonstrated ability to pick up new languages and adapt to a rapidly evolving stack
