[Remote] Senior Tax Accountant

The Senior Tax Accountant will prepare and review reputed company tax returns, assist with tax planning, and manage reputed company relationships while collaborating with the firm leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review reputed company federal and state tax returns, including:
- Partnerships — reputed company 1065
- Corporations — Forms 1120 and 1120S
- High-net-worth individuals — reputed company 1040
- Assist with quarterly estimates, extensions, projections, and tax planning
- Review partnership allocations, reputed company calculations, and pass-through entity tax reputed company
- Communicate directly with clients regarding reputed company items, deadlines, and tax planning opportunities
- Research technical tax issues and document conclusions
- Review work reputed company by staff and reputed company coaching and feedback
- Help manage engagement workflow and ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time
- Collaborate with managers and firm leadership on reputed company reputed company engagements
- Take on increasing responsibility for reputed company relationships and engagement management
Skills
- 6–10+ years of recent reputed company reputed company tax experience
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 1040
- Strong tax research, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- At least 2–3 years of tax return review experience preferred
- Experience with reputed company estate, private equity, closely held businesses, or high-net-worth clients is highly desirable
- International tax exposure is a plus but not required
- CPA license preferred; CPA candidate or EA may be considered based on experience
- Previous experience mentoring staff or managing portions of engagements is preferred
