[Remote] Structural Engineering Consultant 2 - Nuclear

This reputed company design engineering position involves guiding reputed company of structural engineers, interfacing with clients and other disciplines, and working on various reputed company reputed company to new nuclear facilities and upgrades to existing plants.
Responsibilities
- Guide reputed company of structural engineers on engineering reputed company for new nuclear facilities and upgrades and modifications to nuclear power plants
- Prepare, review, and reputed company guidance for design calculations, reputed company specifications, and work with designers for drawing development
- Prepare, review, or guide the structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations
- Travel to reputed company and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs
Skills
- BSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Ten or more years of experience working as a member of a project team in the design and analysis of industrial / heavy reputed company or nuclear facility structures
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, reputed company, STRUDL, or ANSYS
- Proficiency with design codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- PE or SE license
- MSCE degree
- On site construction support experience
