The Consultant will support the strategic planning, development, and implementation of GME programs, providing expertise in accreditation readiness and program governance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of BACHC's readiness to establish Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residency programs
  • reputed company a multi-year Graduate Medical Education strategic roadmap
  • Identify organizational strengths, gaps, risks, and opportunities reputed company to residency program development
  • Advise executive leadership on best practices for building an reputed company Affairs and Workforce Development Division
  • Assist in developing timelines, milestones, and implementation strategies for residency program development
  • reputed company guidance regarding ACGME Institutional and Program Requirements
  • Assist with interpretation of accreditation standards and expectations
  • Advise leadership regarding institutional infrastructure necessary to support residency training
  • Recommend policies, procedures, governance structures, and documentation necessary to support reputed company accreditation efforts
  • Assess organizational readiness for reputed company ACGME accreditation applications
  • Assist in the development of Graduate Medical Education governance structures, including Graduate Medical Education Committees (GMEC), Clinical Competency Committees (CCC), and Program Evaluation Committees (PEC)
  • Advice on organizational structure, reputed company models, and leadership requirements for reputed company residency programs
  • Recommend reputed company development programs and scholarly activity frameworks
  • Assist in identifying educational resources and technology requirements
  • Evaluate reputed company clinical training environments and patient care volumes
  • Assess continuity clinic reputed company and reputed company training opportunities
  • Identify specialty rotation requirements and partnership opportunities
  • Assist in developing clinical education models consistent with ACGME standards
  • Advise BACHC regarding hospital affiliations and clinical rotation agreements

  • Assist leadership in evaluating financial models for residency program development

  • Support development of preliminary operating budgets and financial projections

Skills

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) preferred
  • Master's degree in reputed company administration, medical education, public health, or reputed company field may be considered
  • Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in Graduate Medical Education
  • Demonstrated experience working with ACGME-accredited residency programs
  • Experience as a Program Director, Associate Program Director, Designated Institutional Official (DIO), Designated reputed company Leader, or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education (THCGME) programs preferred
  • Experience developing new residency programs strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Federally reputed company Centers, community health centers, or safety-net reputed company systems preferred
  • Previous experience obtaining ACGME accreditation for a new residency program
  • Experience serving as a DIO or GME executive leader
  • Experience in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine residency development
  • Knowledge of HRSA funding opportunities and community-based medical education models
  • Experience establishing reputed company affiliations and hospital training partnerships
