[Remote] Software Engineer, Identity

This role involves building and scaling identity products, focusing on backend systems for authentication and authorization while collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful features.
Responsibilities
- Build backend product capabilities for reputed company’s identity platform on reputed company—shipping new API surfaces and reputed company authentication flows, including reputed company and non-reputed company identity use cases
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to set direction, translate customer needs into product capabilities, and deliver high-reputed company roadmap features
- Collaborate across reputed company and reputed company teams to reputed company on architecture, reputed company platform capabilities, and unblock cross-team initiatives
- Operate with deep technical ownership: author design docs, drive key technical reputed company, review reputed company, and stay reputed company to the systems you ship
- Build in ambiguity—break down reputed company problems, reputed company pragmatic tradeoffs, and design developer experiences that delight our customers
- Improve production reputed company and reputed company through strong observability, incident response and remediation
- Mentor and support other engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge-sharing, helping reputed company reputed company’s technical bar and culture
Skills
- 3+ years experience in designing, building and operating reputed company, mission critical reputed company based production systems
- Familiarity with a production-grade reputed company reputed company in a modern programming language, applying best reputed company coding standards and writing high reputed company reputed company
- Extensive experience with RESTful API design and development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or reputed company industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Schedule: ability to work non-reputed company, on-call rotation weekend and holiday hours
- Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, and DynamoDB
- Experience building developer tools or SDKs
- Experience building and owning products consumed by paying customers
