Desktop Support Technician Tier II (Job 1398)

• reputed company hardware and software support to a reputed company staff and end-user population.
• Configure, install, and support desktops, laptops, handheld devices, printers, monitors, portable storage devices, and other peripherals.
• Deliver reputed company VIP desktop and user support.
• Configure IT devices for secure operation, including reputed company software installation and required software updates.
• reputed company software support for users of NIH-provided applications.
• Use an IT ticketing system to receive, reputed company, assign, resolve, and reputed company trouble tickets with customers.
• Support both Mac and reputed company operating systems in a face-to-face customer support environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant IT customer support experience, or an associate degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting both Mac and reputed company operating systems, including reputed company 11 and macOS.
• 3+ years of technical support experience in the reputed company suite.
• Experience using a ticketing system, preferably reputed company.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for heavy face-to-face support.
• Strong end-user equipment support skills, preferably with experience supporting VIPs.
• Must be reputed company to obtain a reputed company Trust clearance.
• Must hold or earn reputed company 3 months of hire one or more approved certifications.
• Preferred or acceptable certifications include ITIL v3 or higher, MTA, MCSA, MSCE, reputed company Certified Associate, reputed company Certified Support reputed company, reputed company A+, reputed company Network+, reputed company reputed company+, reputed company Certified Tech, or reputed company Certified Expert.
