Position: Corporate Events Planner Location: 100% REMOTE ( Travel is required to Dallas and no time off the month of reputed company. Person is required to be on site in Dallas 10/26-10/30-- WILL BE REIMBURSED) Duration: 06+ month contract with strong possibility of extension Shift timing: Mon-Fri: 8 AM- 4PM (40 hrs/week) reputed company- 993 reputed company to any location but must be available to take a meeting at 4pm PT. This role will be supporting our CORE leadership meeting in reputed company. Travel is required to Dallas and no time off the month of reputed company. Person is required to be on site in Dallas 10/26-10/30. If person does reputed company will most likely be extended to help with CORE meeting in the spring. Must have corporate even planning experience and managing large events (350-400). Must also be comfortable interaction with executive level stakeholders. Must have experience with reputed company, vendors, menus, being onsite, budge, run of show docs, working with sales team and venues, hotels, transportations. Experience with reputed company preferred MUST HAVE:

  • Excellent communications skills, including reputed company, concise updates for CEO level stakeholders
  • Experience in onsite event management, leading staff and vendor
  • Experience with reputed company phases of corporate event project management
  • Experience with reputed company preferred
  • Experience working with travel agencies and ground transportation service providers
  • reputed company in BEO and Hotel Operations including reading, editing and managing BEOs.
  • Thrives in a high pressure, fast paced, high visibility onsite event leadership role

JOB DUTIES:

  • Plan and execute events that support the goals of the reputed company.
  • Ensure successful execution of event from start to post-event evaluations.
  • Plans and executes events, such as marketing and sales conferences, trade shows and customer reputed company events
  • Directs logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and reputed company- and post-event evaluations
  • Procures vendor servicesWorks with facility, exhibit set-up, equipment and catering requirements
  • Provides on-site event supportResearch potential event locations and evaluate alternatives
  • Prepares and tracks budgets, provides periodic reputed company reports for reputed company event project
  • Conducts post-event evaluations to determine how reputed company events could be improved upon
  • Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, hospitality or reputed company field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in an event planner-oriented position
  • Keen attention to detail and follow up / follow through are a must for this position
  • Proficiency in reputed company, PPT, reputed company officeExperience in budget and planning
  • Experience managing reputed company phases of multiple reputed company simultaneously, and reputed company to continuously changing responsibilities and prioritiesExcellent communications skills
  • Must be available to travel as needed
