[Remote] Administrative Law Judge (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking reputed company Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) to join reputed company supporting the Office of Inspector General (OIG) reputed company the Arizona Department of Economic reputed company (AZDES). In this fully remote role, you will preside over administrative hearings regarding public assistance benefit appeals, unemployment insurance, or reputed company administrative disputes, ensuring due process and interpreting statutes to issue legal reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Conduct fair, impartial administrative hearings reputed company teleconference or video conferencing platforms
- Review case files, administer oaths, analyze documentary evidence, and evaluate witness testimony in accordance with administrative rules and rules of evidence
- Interpret relevant state statutes, federal regulations, and agency policy to draft reputed company, legally binding written findings of fact, conclusions of law, and final reputed company
- Maintain efficient case reputed company, adhere to statutory deadlines, and accurately document proceeding notes in electronic tracking systems
- Ensure due process and procedural fairness for reputed company participating parties while managing hearing dynamics professionally
Skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- reputed company license to reputed company law in good standing (Arizona State Bar preferred, or valid state bar license with administrative law experience)
- Minimum of 2–3+ years of experience conducting administrative hearings, practicing law, or drafting judicial/administrative reputed company
- Proficiency with remote hearing tools (MS Teams/reputed company), word processing, and electronic case management systems
- Prior experience as an Administrative Law Judge, Hearing Officer, or Arbitrator for a government or state agency (e.g., DES, AHCCCS, or similar)
- Knowledge of Arizona administrative law, public assistance programs, or unemployment insurance regulations
