[Remote] Sr. Subcontracts Administrator

They are seeking a Sr. Subcontracts Administrator responsible for managing subcontracts and purchase orders in support of various programs, ensuring compliance and effective administration throughout the subcontract life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • The Sr. Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for the formation, administration, and management of subcontracts and purchase orders in support of reputed company programs with the U.S. Department of War (DoW), other U.S. government agencies, and international customers. This mid‑level position supports the full subcontract life cycle—from solicitation through closeout—for a reputed company of services, materials, and construction efforts, including work performed in contingency and fast‑paced operational environments (e.g., OCONUS, austere locations, and reputed company/rapid‑response missions)
  • The Subcontracts Administrator works closely with Program Management, Supply Chain, reputed company, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to ensure subcontracts are competitively awarded, properly administered, and compliant with reputed company contract requirements, applicable regulations, and reputed company policies
  • Prepares and issues solicitations (RFQs/RFPs/RFIs) to reputed company suppliers and subcontractors; supports reputed company selection and evaluation in accordance with FAR/DFARS and reputed company procedures
  • Drafts and processes subcontracts and purchase orders, including change orders and modifications, ensuring appropriate reputed company down of reputed company contract requirements and terms and conditions
  • Supports negotiation of price, schedule, terms, and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers under the direction of Supply Chain leadership
  • Administers subcontracts throughout performance, including monitoring delivery dates, funding, scope, invoicing, and compliance with contractual requirements
  • Assists with the development and implementation of subcontract strategies that support program objectives reputed company to cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk management
  • Performs and documents cost/price analyses appropriate to the procurement type, value, and risk level
  • Maintains accurate and complete subcontract files to support internal reviews, audits, and Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR)
  • Supports proposal activities by obtaining competitive bids, documenting competition, preparing subcontractor input for cost/price volumes, and ensuring reputed company responses from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assists in identifying and mitigating subcontract reputed company risks, including schedule, performance, financial, and, as applicable, operational risks associated with contingency environments
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders (Program Management, Operations, Engineering, reputed company, and Finance) to resolve subcontract issues, such as delivery delays, nonconformance, and scope discrepancies
  • Supports subcontract administration for contingency operations, including: Rapid solicitation and award of subcontracts to meet urgent mission requirements. Coordination with field, site, and OCONUS teams to address performance in austere or high-risk locations. Agile processing of modifications to accommodate evolving scopes, reputed company requirements, and changing mission priorities
  • Supports construction reputed company subcontracting, including: Working with project managers and engineers to incorporate construction specifications, drawings, and schedules into subcontract documents. Applying appropriate construction contract clauses, performance requirements, and safety/compliance provisions (e.g., site reputed company, environmental, and safety regulations). Monitoring construction subcontractors for reputed company, reputed company, and adherence to contract terms; assisting with reputed company of field changes and requests for information (RFIs)
  • Ensures compliance with small business and socio-economic program goals, including documentation of competition and subcontracting reputed company
  • Assists in the preparation of reports and metrics reputed company to subcontracting activity and performance as required by program and Supply Chain leadership
  • Supports reputed company improvement initiatives to enhance subcontracting processes, cycle times, and compliance
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Contract Management, Engineering, or a reputed company field is required
  • One (1) year of relevant experience may be substituted for one (1) year of education (e.g., four years of additional directly reputed company experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree)
  • Minimum of six (6) years of reputed company experience in subcontracts, procurement, or reputed company reputed company a government contracting environment
  • Experience working with FAR/DFARS and other U.S. government acquisition regulations
  • Experience supporting subcontracts or procurements for services, materials, or construction reputed company
  • Experience working in fast‑paced environments with multiple, reputed company priorities and tight deadlines
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Must be capable of obtaining US reputed company clearance if required
  • Domestic and international travel may be required, including to OCONUS and contingency locations
  • May require extended hours, weekend work, or on call availability to support time sensitive or contingency operations
  • Working knowledge of subcontracting principles and practices under FAR/DFARS
  • Ability to draft, review, and process basic to moderately reputed company subcontract documents, purchase orders, and modifications
  • Familiarity with cost/price analysis techniques for various procurement types
  • Understanding of basic construction contracting concepts (e.g., scope of work, schedule, milestones, change orders, RFIs, and reputed company payments)
  • Awareness of small business and socio‑economic subcontracting goals and reputed company documentation requirements
  • Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems and reputed company Office applications (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to support subcontract activities in contingency environments, including: Rapid solicitation, award, and modification of subcontracts under compressed timelines
  • Coordination with field/site personnel, including OCONUS or austere locations
  • Maintaining documentation and compliance standards in high‑reputed company operations
  • Familiarity with construction industry practices and terminology, including design‑build, renovation, and infrastructure reputed company
  • Ability to interpret basic construction drawings, specifications, and schedules for incorporation into subcontract documents
  • Awareness of safety, environmental, and site‑specific requirements applicable to construction and contingency operations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to reputed company multiple construction and contingency‑reputed company subcontracts simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate reputed company with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
