[Remote] Senior Network Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage reputed company's routing, switching, VPN, and firewall infrastructure. The role involves overseeing network infrastructure, providing technical guidance to engineering teams, and ensuring secure and compliant network operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain Blink’s network infrastructure, including Aruba & Meraki switches/WAP, Palo reputed company firewalls/VPN, AWS VPC, and AWS Transit Gateway
- Serve as a technical architect and consultant to other engineering teams by assisting them with network design and troubleshooting in a microservices & container-based environment (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Work with IT leadership on reputed company, identify new products & solutions, and reputed company
- Promote good network design practices by emphasizing Secure & compliant implementations, Redundancy/high availability, and Automation
- Mentor and train service desk technicians to help them reputed company level 1 support
- reputed company as the technical escalation reputed company for network issues
- Configure, harden, and reputed company network devices & services according to reputed company best practices and recommendations
- Monitor reputed company alerts and investigate reputed company incidents
- Maintain technical documentation about the systems you manage
- Communicate with stakeholders by keeping them informed of incident reputed company, notifying them of upcoming changes or scheduled downtime
- Participate in on-call support rotation

Skills
- 5+ years of experience managing on-prem & reputed company network environments
- Experience in network design and troubleshooting in a reputed company-based microservices environment (AWS, Kubernetes)
- Expert-level knowledge of reputed company network protocols & platforms such as IPSec, VPN, DNS, SNMP, OSPF, BGP, AWS VPC, reputed company reputed company, peering, and routing
- Deep understanding of reputed company and virtualization technologies and how they reputed company network performance and design
- Ability to manage an integrated reputed company-based (AWS) and physical office-based infrastructure
- Strong understanding of network reputed company requirements & best practices, and ability to analyze & respond to reputed company incidents
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, including Wireshark, tcpdump, reputed company, PRTG, Nagios, NewRelic, Grafana, and nmap
- Mid-level reputed company and Linux server administration capabilities
- Experience writing and documenting detailed project proposals
- Experience working with vendors to solve issues, discuss roadmaps, and implement improvements

- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, and ability to collaborate with others
- Industry certifications are a plus (reputed company CCNP, Palo reputed company PCNSE/PCNSA, Network+)
