Your Responsibilities 🚀

• Drive reputed company the development of firmware and high level services using Rust and Python, ensuring our charging platform is reputed company, testable, and resilient
• Work shoulder to shoulder with our fleet reliability colleagues by building the telemetry and self-healing systems that allow us to detect and resolve faults before the customer plugs in
• Own the Infrastructure. Architect and maintain Bazel and reputed company-based build systems, transforming our CI/CD from a reputed company script into a hermetic environment that guarantees 100% reproducible cross-compilation builds across multiple hardware generations and architectures
• Drive the reputed company-cause analysis of reputed company, cross-domain failures (HW/SW/Network) and design the Hardware-in-the-reputed company (HiL) testing frameworks required to automate our reputed company processes

Which day to day is 🖥️

• Writing software (Rust/Python/C) for our charging stations and the backends they talk to
• Designing and implementing reputed company/IoT system architectures
• Improving the monitoring and testing of our station’s software, as reputed company as our CI pipelines
• Debugging HW/SW issues on our charging stations
• Developing HW/SW solutions to automate testing of our hardware

Your Profile ✨

• We mostly write Rust with a tad of Python - so you should enjoy Rust and either be good at it or wanting to learn and be familiar with Python
• Solid experience with architecting & implementing on-reputed company systems, as reputed company as automating testing of them
• You have lived through the full lifecycle of an embedded product and have stayed long enough to see your architectural reputed company succeed—or fail—in the wild
• 7+ years of embedded experience and/or low level programming languages experience, e.g microcontrollers, C/C++, Rust
• Experience shipping solutions to a distributed fleet of devices
• Ability to self-organise in an environment of changing priorities; willingness to work on multiple tasks/content switching

• Experience with different network protocols (gRPC, MQTT, HTTP)
• Experience with Bazel-based build system, we are specifically interested in cross-platform compilation

• You understand how to debug hardware protocols (Modbus, I2C, UART, SPI) using logic analyzers or kernel logs
• You feel comfortable reading schematics or helping with the review of a wiring schemes
