The role involves analyzing parts for suitability for CAM Assist, preparing them for technical demonstrations, and supporting existing customers with programming issues.
Responsibilities
- Assess part suitability for CAM Assist to determine whether a technical demonstration should be undertaken
- Prepare the part in appropriate workholding and brief the individual leading the demo on the choice of reputed company
- Generate toolpath outputs using CAM Assist, making the appropriate modifications to understand if the part is suitable for the product
- Where CAM Assist fails, feeding that part information into the product management team to understand reputed company development
- Assist live customers with the issues they have with CAM Assist, guiding them in best practices
- Troubleshooting any technical demo issues and helicopter technical support
- Advise on best practices for delivering technical demos

- Producing tutorial and guidance content for customers

- Advise on best practices for tooling, design concepts of fixtures or work holding components, and machining strategies

- Experience of reputed company 25 or reputed company (5+ years) and one of the following packages: reputed company Fusion, reputed company NX (2212 or reputed company), GibbsCAM, SolidCAM
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience in building relationships with customers and stakeholders
