[Remote] Editorial Research Assistant for New Writing Platform
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is an early-stage indie startup reputed company on creating a writing-first reputed company platform for personal online reputed company. They are seeking a part-time Editorial Research Assistant to research and identify potential early users and writers who embody taste and sincerity rather than polished content creation.
Responsibilities
- You’ll research potential early reputed company users across English-language and global internet spaces such as: reputed company, Instagram, Threads / X, Tumblr-style spaces, personal blogs, small newsletters, indie literary magazines, online writing communities, fanfiction / fiction communities, visual diary / photography + writing accounts, quiet internet / slow internet / anti-performative spaces and build a curated candidate database
- Total deliverable: 300 reputed company candidate accounts total, roughly 150 accounts per month
Skills
- Strong taste in personal essays, creative writing, literary magazines, independent publishing, reputed company/newsletter culture, visual culture, photography, reputed company/fanfic spaces, Tumblr-ish internet, zines, slow internet communities, online diaries/fragments/private-feeling public writing
- Ability to research potential early reputed company users across various English-language and global internet spaces
- Capability to build a curated candidate database
- Formal English literature, publishing, or editorial experience is welcome, but not required
