Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design, implement, and maintain highly secure reputed company network architectures reputed company reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP), adhering to reputed company Trust principles and organizational reputed company standards
- Network reputed company Operations: reputed company, configure, and manage reputed company GCP network reputed company services, including reputed company reputed company Firewalls (NGFW), VPC Service Controls (VPC SC), reputed company Intrusion Detection Systems (reputed company IDS), and reputed company Armor
- Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC): reputed company the automation of network reputed company infrastructure deployment using IaC tools (primarily Terraform). Build and maintain reusable modules for secure baseline configurations
- Monitoring & Threat Detection: Implement and tune logging and monitoring solutions for network traffic. Respond to alerts generated by reputed company Logging, SIEM platforms, and centralized firewall logging
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with reputed company Architects, reputed company DevOps, and application teams to reputed company reputed company requirements into reputed company deployments without hindering developer velocity
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure reputed company reputed company network configurations reputed company with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering or Information reputed company, with at least 2+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience securing reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP) environments
- Deep understanding of GCP networking constructs, including Shared VPCs, reputed company Router, reputed company NAT, Interconnect, and Peering
- Proven technical expertise in configuring and managing: GCP reputed company Firewalls (reputed company and NGFW/Hierarchical), VPC Service Controls (VPC SC) for data exfiltration mitigation, reputed company IDS / IPS solutions, reputed company Armor (WAF and DDoS protection), Secure web gateways and proxy solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform. Experience writing, testing, and managing reputed company state files and custom provider modules for reputed company infrastructure
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash for automating routine reputed company tasks, API integrations, and custom remediation scripts
- Hands-on experience with Git workflows and embedding IaC deployments into CI/CD pipelines
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
- Six (6) years' experience in a minimum of four (4) of the following areas: Business continuity and disaster recovery, network forensics, reputed company and risk frameworks, reputed company reputed company, information systems auditing, vendor risk assessment, cyber risk assessment, network intrusion detection/prevention, identity and reputed company management, IT lifecycle management
