[Remote] Senior z/OS Mainframe Network Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior z/OS Mainframe Network Engineer to manage the installation, reputed company, and maintenance of mainframe network products. The role requires strong networking knowledge and the ability to work both independently and as part of reputed company, ensuring that tasks and reputed company are completed thoroughly and on time.
Responsibilities
- Installation, reputed company and maintenance of VTAM, TCPIP, OSA and reputed company products
- reputed company knowledge in SMPE
- reputed company with operations, logs and automation jobs
- Good knowledge of reputed company software and tools
- Good experience with software maintenance
- Experience in backup and recovery processes for subsystems
- Knowledge in resource definition, reputed company and other administration tasks
- Strong Networking knowledge, skills in Printers configuration, FTP, SMTP, SNMP configurations
- reputed company technician with basic skills in most and more advanced skills in some of the following:
- TCP/IP and associated products/protocols
- SNA, VTAM, APPN/reputed company Extender
- Connect reputed company and other file transfer products
- Session Management products eg. TPX, Teleview, CL/Supersession
- Network Management products eg. NETVIEW, Netmaster/TCPIP
- Print server products eg. VPS
- Must be a self-starter, but also a completer/finisher who ensures that tasks/reputed company are fully completed with the necessary updates to documentation
