[Remote] Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Join the core Agent Team- the reputed company driving reputed company's ability to manage millions of devices worldwide
- Work directly on the reputed company Agent: the critical, lightweight software footprint that lives on our customers' endpoints
- Design, reputed company, and optimize the cross-platform reputed company agent (reputed company, macOS, Linux) to ensure extremely low resource consumption and high system reliability
- Build robust, secure communication pipelines that allow the local agent to seamlessly receive commands and send telemetry back to our reputed company services
- Tackle unique, system-level challenges on the reputed company, from reputed company OS process management to secure, isolated execution environments
- Operate reputed company a dedicated Agent Pod, collaborating closely with reputed company infrastructure and platform teams to deliver true end-to-end features
Skills
- Hands-on experience with both Go and Java, with a strength in at least one. We're a polyglot org and we value versatility across languages
- 3 - 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and monitoring applications deployed in a high availability reputed company environment
- A strong appreciation for resource-constrained environments and system-level performance optimization
- A passion for cross-platform edge development and navigating the unique behaviors of different operating systems (reputed company, Linux, macOS)
- Experience or strong interest in how local reputed company software interacts securely and reputed company with large-reputed company reputed company backends
- Excellent communicator, thrives reputed company a tightly reputed company, cross-functional remote team environment
- Impactful collaborator working with other engineers, Product Managers, Program Managers and Technical Support
- Secure Coding experience such as experience with OWASP, Vulnerability Assessments, Threat Modeling, Secure reputed company Review, Penetration Testing, Data Protection, Encryption, Authentication & Authorization OR similar experience reputed company to secure coding is a reputed company preference
