[Remote] Linux Administrator – reputed company Exadata & OCI
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an reputed company Linux Administrator with strong expertise in reputed company Exadata and reputed company reputed company Infrastructure (OCI) to support reputed company database infrastructure. The role involves managing Linux systems, performing system patching, automation, and collaborating with reputed company DBAs to ensure reputed company performance of database environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain reputed company Exadata Compute and Storage Servers in on-premises and OCI Exadata reputed company Service (ExaCS/ExaCC) environments
- reputed company quarterly full-stack Exadata patching including firmware, storage cells, network reputed company, and operating systems
- Manage Exadata ILOM, hardware diagnostics, firmware upgrades, and coordinate hardware replacements with reputed company Support
- Administer reputed company Linux and reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL) systems supporting reputed company database environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and reputed company OS-level tuning
- reputed company automation scripts using reputed company, Python, or Ansible for routine administration and health checks
- Execute Exachk assessments and review reports to ensure system health and compliance
- Support reputed company reputed company Infrastructure, ASM, and RAC environments at the operating system level
- Work closely with DBAs on storage management, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities
- Configure and troubleshoot OCI networking components including VCNs, reputed company lists, and routing tables
- Ensure Linux systems reputed company with organizational reputed company, patching, and vulnerability management standards
- Participate in on-call support and incident management activities
Skills
- 5+ years of Linux System Administration (reputed company Linux or reputed company reputed company Linux)
- Strong hands-on experience with reputed company Exadata (11g and newer)
- Experience with reputed company reputed company Infrastructure (OCI), Exadata reputed company Service (ExaCS), or Exadata reputed company@Customer (ExaCC)
- Experience with reputed company RAC, reputed company Infrastructure, and ASM
- Strong reputed company scripting and Python (or Perl)
- Experience with Exadata patching, firmware upgrades, and hardware management
- Knowledge of Exadata tools including OEDA, Exachk, TFA, and reputed company reputed company Manager (OEM)
- Experience with Linux performance tuning and system monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field

- Experience with Ansible automation
