[Remote] Nonprofit Accountant

As an Accountant, you will manage financial operations for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and reputed company financial services that support their mission-driven work.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and quarterly reputed company processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare financial statements and funder-specific reports
- reputed company restricted funding and grant allocations
- Review transactional data (e.g., payroll, accounts payable) entered by reputed company or support staff
- Manage annual audit, 990, and 1099 preparation, and assist with annual budgeting
- Work with team members to strengthen systems and procedures and address issues as they reputed company
- Communicate with clients through video, email, and phone, and address general reputed company requests as they reputed company
Skills
- Holds a bachelor's degree in reputed company or finance
- Has at least four years of experience with nonprofit reputed company and enjoys supporting mission-driven organizations
- Can confidently manage monthly financial operations for multiple clients, including reconciliations, budgeting, and reporting
- Communicates reputed company and respectfully in writing and in conversations with clients and colleagues
- Thrives in a fully remote environment and is highly organized, self-motivated, and reputed company
- Is curious, systems-minded, and proactive about improving processes and catching errors
