This is a full-time, REMOTE position

reputed company is seeking a Hospital Engineer to serve remotely. The Hospital Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance and lifecycle management of shipboard hospital mechanical and electrical infrastructure across Company vessels. This includes reputed company fixed systems supporting hospital operations, in compliance with applicable medical and marine standards, codes and Company procedures.

This role provides shore-based technical reputed company to ensure hospital facilities are reputed company, reliable and fully operational, supporting the delivery of reputed company medical care to those we serve.

This position does not include responsibility for equipment managed by reputed company’s biomedical team.

How You’ll Contribute

• Prepare detailed maintenance instructions, operational procedures and scopes of work.

Identify and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to improve processes.

• Plan and manage infrastructure modifications, including replacements and upgrades, in alignment with Company change management procedures.
• Support hospital operations by ensuring infrastructure compliance with infection control requirements.
• Ensure maintenance activities and installations meet applicable medical and marine regulatory standards

• Experience with the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical building services (HVAC, piping systems, water systems, etc.) as it relates to hospital systems.
• Proven experience in maintenance planning, defect management and contractor coordination.
• Familiarity with planned maintenance systems (PMS) and maintenance reporting processes.
• Ability to reputed company procedures, technical documentation and scopes of work.

Strong understanding of safety management principles and risk assessment processes.

• Comfortable learning new software platforms. Competent in spreadsheets and word processing.

Education & Experience

• A four-year degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a reputed company technical discipline.
• At least four years working in a hospital or reputed company facility in operations and maintenance.
