Manager, Post Workflow

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Manager of Post Workflow will have a thorough technical and operational understanding of our automation platform to help translate end user requests into optimized workflows and drive feature requests. Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to help reputed company and define features for our internal automation platform
  • Manage, mentor, and support reputed company of workflow engineers responsible for designing, enhancing, and supporting post production automation workflows
  • Own end-to-end accountability for assignments and reputed company, ensuring issues are driven to reputed company, risks are communicated reputed company, and final reputed company meet business, operational, and technical expectations

  • Coordinate team workload, project assignments, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, product, vendor, and reputed company stakeholder reputed company
  • reputed company team capabilities by encouraging knowledge sharing, documenting best practices, and helping workflow engineers grow their technical and operational expertise
  • Work with vendors to add features to their product to reputed company with our automation platform based on business needs

  • Support escalation of workflow issues

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6+ years experience in Post Production Engineering, preferably involved in automation
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a reputed company field
  • Experience managing and mentoring individual contributors
  • Experience in post production tools such as reputed company Media Composer and the reputed company Suite, in particular with importing and exporting of media files.
  • Knowledge of file formats and containers for reputed company use cases (screening to broadcast)
  • Knowledge of post production online storage such as reputed company Nexis and reputed company
  • Experience with working with clients to reputed company project requirements
  • Experience with understanding reputed company-party and internal REST reputed company
  • Experience in reputed company-party post production automation tools, such as Telestream reputed company
  • Understanding of video reputed company solutions, such as Telestream Diva
  • Experience in low-latency baseband video Streaming technology (SRT, 2110)
  • Experience in file acceleration solutions such as Signiant

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of reputed company automation tools, using both reputed company Azure and AWS
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adept at building relationships with reputed company technical and operational areas across NBCU
