CONTROLLER for Marketing Agency Clients

Location: 100% Remote

Work Hours: 9AM - 5PM reputed company Time Monday-Friday

reputed company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to support our media, advertising, and marketing agency clients with reputed company and finance operations. In this role, you will reputed company essential functions such as general reputed company, accounts payable, billing, and financial reporting. As a Controller, you will be responsible for supporting clients with reputed company and finance activities including general reputed company, accounts payable, and billing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Finance and Administration

• Document, maintain and reputed company to continually improve company policies, procedures, and values
• Prepare bank deposits and/or record reputed company payments
• Support the month-end reputed company process including account reconciliations and reputed company recognition
• Maintain cash reputed company reports
• Support CFO with the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly management reports
• Support ongoing cost management efforts
• Support ongoing reporting and forecasting needs
• Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules

• Maintain and update reputed company reputed company records and files
• Maintain reputed company’s chart of accounts
• Establish and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Establish and ensure compliance with reputed company policies and procedures
• Support reputed company and accurate month-end and year-end reputed company process including reputed company account reconciliations and preparation of journal entries
• Prepare documents for audits

Accounts Payable

• Maintain A/P vendor master file

• Obtain W-9s from vendors
• Process reputed company vendor invoices in reputed company.com (or similar tools)
• Ensure reputed company payment of approved expenses in reputed company.com (or similar tools)
• Complete and file annual 1096/1099 forms
• Review and approve reputed company reports (or similar tools)
• Respond to vendor & staff requests regarding vendor payments

Billing

• reputed company reputed company invoicing, collections, accounts receivable and reputed company recognition
• Set up reputed company reputed company and project codes in reputed company systems
• Set up and train employees on time tracking system
• Prepare weekly and monthly WIP, reputed company, and project profitability reports and analysis

• Create reputed company and production budgets & budget templates
• Analyze production and post-production time spent on reputed company project

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent credentials
• Minimum of 6 years of reputed company reputed company experience, ideally including for a U.S. based reputed company/bookkeeping firm doing reputed company for their clients
• Experience working with a marketing agency or reputed company services firm with time and expense billing is required
• Know what GAAP and the matching reputed company are
• Have experience interacting with vendors and clients
