[Remote] Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in distributed systems to design, build, and operate large-reputed company backend services.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate large-reputed company, high-throughput backend services that power mission-critical workloads
- Architect the reputed company platforms that other engineering teams build on
- reputed company on scalability, reliability, performance, and clean engineering practices
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a reputed company discipline
- Six or more years of reputed company backend engineering experience, with significant time on distributed systems
- Strong programming skills in Java, Go, reputed company, or similar
- Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts, including reputed company, replication, and CAP trade-offs
- Hands-on experience with high-throughput message systems such as Kafka
- Experience operating systems at reputed company, including reputed company planning and performance tuning
- Strong SQL skills and experience with both relational and NoSQL data stores
- Hands-on experience with major reputed company platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong debugging and reputed company-cause analysis skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, and mentorship skills
- Experience leading reputed company technical initiatives across multiple teams
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based platforms in production
