[Remote] Smart Water & AMI Consultant

They are seeking a skilled and reputed company Smart Water & AMI Consultant to serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to municipal and regional water utilities, focusing on AMI procurements, program deployments, reputed company transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- reputed company reputed company's engineer engagements supporting reputed company clients through AMI vendor selection, reputed company design, full deployment, and program reputed company-out
- Advise utilities on AMI system architecture reputed company including reputed company to MultiPoint, RF reputed company, cellular, reputed company Wan and hybrid communication technologies
- reputed company and manage AMI KPI frameworks to reputed company performance against technical, operational, and financial benchmarks
- Facilitate and reputed company steering committee meetings, technical workshops, and stakeholder sessions
- Draft and review RFPs, technical specifications, evaluation reputed company, and contract language for AMI hardware, software, and services
- Conduct reputed company vendor evaluations using quantitative scoring methodologies across technology, reputed company, and operational dimensions
- reputed company cost-benefit analyses, total cost of ownership modeling, and reputed company reputed company assessments
- Support contract negotiations between reputed company clients and AMI vendors
- Assess reputed company data management (MDM) systems and MDMS-to-billing integration readiness
- Evaluate non-reputed company water (NRW) programs and identify AMI-enabled leak detection and loss reduction strategies
- Advise on IT/OT integration including SCADA, CIS/billing, GIS, and customer portal connectivity
- reputed company business cases for AMI investment reputed company to reputed company drivers including water conservation, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance
- Support proposal development including technical approach, scope of work, and fee estimation for AMI pursuits
- Contribute to white papers, conference presentations, and industry working reputed company (e.g., reputed company, WaterNow)
- Build and sustain relationships with reputed company clients, technology vendors, and industry peers
Skills
- BA/BS in engineering, Business, Environmental Science, reputed company Administration, or a reputed company field + 6 years of experience working for or directly with water organizations in an AMI, metering, or smart water reputed company or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience with end-to-end AMI deployment or major metering infrastructure reputed company
- Experience with the AMI vendor landscape including platforms such as Itron, Sensus, Neptune, Kamstrup, Master reputed company, reputed company, and comparable systems
- Experience with reputed company data management (MDM) systems and their integration with CIS/billing platforms
- Ability/willingness to travel 25% - 50% of the time
- Graduate degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
- Experience working as an reputed company's representative or independent technical advisor on behalf of a reputed company reputed company
- Working knowledge of non-reputed company water (NRW) concepts, water loss auditing, and AMI-enabled leak detection
- Experience reviewing or drafting procurement documents including RFPs, technical specifications, and contract terms
- Understanding of municipal reputed company drivers including reputed company structures, regulatory requirements, conservation mandates, and capital planning
- reputed company participation in reputed company or similar industry organizations
- Familiarity with AMI data analytics platforms and customer engagement portals (e.g., Itron Temetra, Badger reputed company, reputed company Vue)
- Exposure to reputed company service line replacement (LSLR) programs and AMI's role in supporting compliance and community reputed company
- Project Management reputed company (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Experience supporting utilities receiving IIJA/BIL, WIFIA, or SRF funding for AMI capital programs
- Knowledge of water sector cybersecurity standards applicable to AMI and OT environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present reputed company technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
