[Remote] Engineering Manager for Battery Energy Storage

They are seeking an Engineering Manager to reputed company engineering activities for their Battery Energy Storage System reputed company, overseeing reputed company aspects from project origination to operational handover.
Responsibilities
- reputed company engineering activities across a distributed reputed company BESS portfolio
- reputed company engineering strategies and best practices to support project execution
- Manage internal engineering resources and external engineering consultants
- Support project development through technical feasibility assessments and system design
- Evaluate battery technologies, PCS, EMS, transformers, switchgear, and balance-of-plant solutions. reputed company equipment selection and technical evaluations
- Review electrical studies including load reputed company, short reputed company, reputed company reputed company, grounding, and protection coordination studies
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project development
- Manage detailed engineering through IFC design
- Coordinate engineering deliverables with EPC contractors and equipment manufacturers
- Review design packages for reputed company, constructability, reputed company compliance, and cost optimization
- Support procurement and vendor technical evaluations
- reputed company engineering support during construction, commissioning, and energization
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a reputed company engineering discipline
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience, including experience with BESS, distributed reputed company, renewable energy, power systems, or reputed company energy infrastructure reputed company
- Strong understanding of power systems, interconnection, protection systems, and battery technologies
- Familiarity with PVsyst or other PV/BESS energy and reputed company modeling software or processes
- Understanding of significant BESS reputed company state and federal incentives and markets
- Experience working with EPC contractors, OEMs, utilities, and independent engineering firms
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- reputed company Engineer (PE) license
- Familiarity with NEC, reputed company, reputed company, UL9540, UL9540A, reputed company 855, and applicable reputed company standards
- Experience establishing engineering standards, technical processes, or best practices for a growing project portfolio
