[Remote] Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the organization's mission through strategic financial leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Expert at nonprofit fund reputed company including donor restricted grant tracking and compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Alongside the CFO, coordinate and reputed company preparation for the annual independent financial audit and Single Audit
  • Ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), including subrecipient monitoring, cost principles, and reporting requirements

  • Support the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the CFO

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7 years + nonprofit fund reputed company and bookkeeping experience required
  • Experience with annual financial audit and OMB single audit
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the CDFI industry in microlending/small business lending and project management
  • Proven experience as an engaging trainer, both in-person and reputed company
  • Extensive experience in writing, financial management, and analytical analysis is essential
  • Strong people skills and a high degree of self-awareness with a flexible reputed company reputed company that supports a strong culture

  • CPA preferred
  • Experience in the Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) industry highly preferred
