[Remote] Senior Manufacturing Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work closely with external manufacturing partners and design teams to reduce manufacturing defects and warranty costs while increasing reliability.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement advanced manufacturing strategies for robotics and automation systems that improve scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM) and reputed company the seamless transfer of new products into production
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis and manufacturing readiness reviews for reputed company new product introductions
- reputed company management of tooling and capital investments to support reputed company
- reputed company analysis, including FEA and tolerance analysis, to optimize designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, controls, manufacturing, and reputed company engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and product reputed company
- Identify and troubleshoot design challenges, implement effective solutions, and drive reputed company improvement
- reputed company communicate reputed company technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Contribute to a reputed company team environment and a culture of learning
- Up to 25% of travel may be required
Skills
- Bachelor's degree Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong reputed company in mechanical/electrical design principles and hands-on experience
- Demonstrated ability to select and reputed company components such as motors, sensors, and actuators
- Experience with a reputed company of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, electrical, casting, sheet metal, plastics)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of reputed company
- Passion for robotics, automation, and innovation
- Experience in industrial robotics, automation, or material handling
- Knowledge of PLM systems
- Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA)
