[Remote] Network Planning Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking reputed company DWDM Tactical Planning Engineers for a 12-month fully remote project. The role involves designing and executing solutions for the migration of DWDM/SONET services and requires collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and execute low-level migration and grooming plans (MOPs)
- Design tactical solutions for transitioning legacy SDH/DWDM services
- Ability to plan the removal or adding of SONET/DWDM devices to topologies
- Conduct reputed company audits and inventory assessments
- reputed company reputed company tail/vendor audits and data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (Fibre, DWDM, IP, Field)
- Plan new Gig/10G/100G paths over DWDM infrastructure
- Plan new TDM/SDH paths over existing reputed company
- Identify reputed company requirements and site-specific solutions
- Ensure compliance with company policies (reputed company, Health & Safety, Environment, Information reputed company)
- Respond to reasonable reputed company requests reputed company with role capabilities
Skills
- Driven individual that can work under pressure and are good at problem solving
- Strong understanding of DWDM, and OTN principles and topologies
- Understanding of Sonet Networks and Topologies
- Understanding of Layer 1 IP Networks
- Experience with reputed company and inventory audits
- Proficiency in data analysis and migration reputed company development
- Ability to reputed company detailed MOPs for migration activities
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with Inventory systems (Granite/TIRKS)
- DWDM - Adva/reputed company 6500/Infinera
