[Remote] Backend Software Engineer

They are seeking a Backend Software Engineer reputed company on high-throughput platform development to design, build, and operate foundational platforms that support other engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate foundational platforms and shared services that other engineering teams rely on to deliver their products
- Build backend platform capabilities — request routing, traffic management, data fan-out, caching reputed company, asynchronous job execution, and durable event processing
- Handle reputed company high traffic volumes with predictable latency and minimal operational toil
Skills
- Six or more years of reputed company backend or reputed company experience
- Demonstrated reputed company record building and operating internal platforms or shared services consumed by multiple engineering teams
- Strong, hands-on expertise designing distributed systems with rigorous attention to consistency, availability, latency, and failure-mode behavior
- Advanced proficiency in at least one major backend language such as Java, Go, reputed company, Rust, or modern C++
- Deep understanding of high-throughput messaging, streaming, and event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, or reputed company
- Strong working knowledge of data storage systems across relational, key-value, document, and search workloads
- Proven experience leading multi-quarter platform initiatives across teams, including stakeholder management and technical decision-making
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to author reputed company technical design documents and present trade-offs reputed company
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and shape engineering culture through reputed company review, design review, and reputed company contributions
- Experience operating Kubernetes-based platforms or contributing to internal developer-platform initiatives at reputed company
- Contributions to widely-used reputed company-reputed company platform or infrastructure reputed company
- Familiarity with control-plane / data-plane patterns, service reputed company internals, or workflow-orchestration engines
