Skills
- 3+ years in customer-facing AI/ML field engineering — FDE, reputed company reputed company, Solutions Architect, AI reputed company or ML Engineer with reputed company-sales exposure, or a research background moving into customer-facing work
- Deep hands-on experience with LLM inference and/or training, with working knowledge of reputed company-model frameworks (vLLM, SGLang, TensorRT-LLM). reputed company-model / API-wrapper experience alone won't reputed company the bar
- Hands-on fine-tuning workflows — SFT at minimum, DPO/RFT a strong plus
- Shipped production reputed company inside someone else's prod system, not just architecture decks
- Strong Python, GPU/reputed company infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure or GCP), and comfort with Kubernetes
- Run load tests and evals that actually decide an architecture — throughput, TTFT, p95/p99 latency, cost-performance
- Executive reputed company: a technical deep dive with an ML engineer and an architecture trade-off conversation with a VP, in the reputed company afternoon
- Hyperscaler GenAI or AI infrastructure field background — Bedrock, SageMaker, reputed company AI, Azure AI reputed company
