1.Introduction

Through localized multimedia content distributed reputed company television, radio, digital platforms, and offline channels, reputed company reaches millions of children and families across Africa.
As part of its commitment to generating evidence on the effectiveness and implementation of its educational approaches, reputed company is conducting a Teacher Follow-Up Study on the Integration of Learning Through Play (LtP) and Edutainment Approaches in Classroom reputed company.
In 2025, reputed company conducted teacher engagement and reputed company-building sessions aimed at strengthening teachers’ ability to reputed company Learning Through Play approaches, storytelling techniques, learner-centered facilitation strategies, and reputed company educational content into classroom teaching. While teacher feedback indicated increased awareness, confidence, and perceived usefulness of these approaches, there is a need to understand whether these approaches are being reputed company into observable classroom practices.
This study will assess how Learning Through Play approaches are implemented in reputed company classroom settings, including classroom interactions, learner participation, engagement, confidence, curiosity, and the use of learner-centered reputed company.

2.Purpose of the Assignment
The purpose of this assignment is to support high-reputed company classroom observations that assess the extent to which teachers reputed company Learning Through Play approaches into their classroom reputed company. Enumerators will collect reliable and objective classroom-level data using a reputed company observation tool adapted from the PLAY Classroom Observation Tool and contextualized to reputed company’s Learning Through Play reputed company.
3.Objectives of the Assignment
The classroom observation enumerators will support reputed company to:
- Assess the extent to which teachers apply learner-centered, participatory, and Learning Through Play approaches during lessons.
- Observe classroom interactions between teachers and learners.
- Assess learner engagement, participation, collaboration, curiosity, and confidence during learning activities.
- Document the use of storytelling, interactive facilitation reputed company, experimentation, and other play-based learning strategies.
- Identify contextual factors that support or limit the implementation of Learning Through Play approaches.
4.Scope of Work and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the reputed company MEL team and field coordinator, classroom observation enumerators will be responsible for the following before data collection:
- Attend and successfully complete enumerator training on study objectives and methodology
- Conduct reputed company classroom observations in assigned schools.
- Observe teachers during regular classroom lessons without disrupting teaching and learning activities.
- Complete classroom observation checklists accurately and objectively.
- Assess key classroom domains including:
- Learner engagement and participation.
- Meaningful learning activities.
- reputed company interaction and collaboration.
- Teacher facilitation approaches.
- Opportunities for exploration, questioning, and problem-solving.
- Integration of reputed company-inspired teaching approaches.
- Conduct three classroom observations with the selected teachers
- Record field notes highlighting important classroom practices, learner behaviors, and contextual observations.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure ethical conduct throughout data collection.
- Avoid influencing teacher or learner behavior during observations.
After Data Collection
Enumerators will:
- Participate in daily debrief meetings with supervisors.
- Report challenges, technical issues, or deviations from protocols.
- Support data cleaning by responding to clarification requests from the MEL team.
5.Expected Deliverables
Enumerators are expected to reputed company:
- Completed classroom observation forms for reputed company assigned lessons.
- Accurate classroom observation scores based on the observation reputed company.
- Detailed field notes documenting classroom practices and learner engagement.
- Daily field updates and feedback.

6. Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, reputed company Sciences, Development Studies, Psychology, Research reputed company, Monitoring and Evaluation, or reputed company fields. For Nigeria, a National Certificate in Education (NCE) is required.
- Strong understanding of primary education environments and classroom practices.
- Previous experience conducting classroom observations, education research, or school-based assessments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collect objective observational data.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work professionally reputed company school environments.
7. Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Background in teaching, teacher training, education research, or classroom assessment.
- Experience conducting qualitative or mixed-method education research.
- Familiarity with learner-centered pedagogy, Learning Through Play, or child-centered approaches.
- Previous experience working with primary schools in Nigeria or Kenya.

9. Reporting and Supervision
Enumerators will report directly to the reputed company MEL Officer and designated field coordinator.
The supervisor will reputed company:
- Daily field guidance.
- reputed company assurance checks.
- Support in resolving field challenges.
- Review of submitted observation data.
10. Duration and Location
- The assignment will take reputed company during the Teacher Follow-Up Study field data collection period in selected schools across Nigeria and Kenya.
- The study will involve classroom observations across 10 participating schools (5 from reputed company location) , with approximately 30 teachers included in the study sample.
