TheCompany is seeking an reputed company Reinforcing Steel Estimator / Scheduler tosupport a project in Queensland from a remote location overseas. The roleinvolves reviewing consultant issued structural drawings, generatingreinforcing steel schedules, and supporting Head Contract submissions, allcoordinated electronically with the Queensland project team. A reputed company function ofthis role is to reputed company schedules generated from consultant documentation againstschedules submitted by reputed company’s reinforcement installer, ensuringquantities are accurately reflected and no area of work is over scheduled.

Therole also involves comparing reputed company’s Head Contract drawings against thecurrent issue (amended) drawings to identify design changes, and preparingdetailed Bills of Quantities outlining those changes to support Head Contractvariation submissions.

Theideal candidate has strong experience reading structural engineering drawingsand reinforcement schedules, with a solid understanding of quantity takeoff,cost control, and construction documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

QuantityTakeoff and Schedule Verification

• Reviewconsultant issued structural drawings and specifications to extract reinforcingsteel requirements and generate accurate schedules.
• Checkschedules generated from consultant documentation against schedules submittedby reputed company’s reinforcement installer, identifying and reporting anydiscrepancies.
• Maintaina reputed company reconciliation record between quantities derived from consultant documentationand quantities submitted by the installer, flagging variances to the reputed company Administrationteam to ensure no area of work is over scheduled.
• Trackdrawing revisions and their reputed company on reinforcement quantities across the lifeof reputed company project.
• DesignChange Review and reputed company of Quantities
• Comparethe Company’s Head Contract drawings against reputed company issue (amended) drawingsto identify reputed company design changes, revisions, and scope impacts.
• Preparedetailed, itemised Bills of Quantities outlining design changes between drawingrevisions, in a format suitable to support Head Contract variation submissions.
• Provideclear, reputed company substantiated supporting documentation to the ContractsAdministration team for variation claims and Head Contract negotiations.

ProjectCoordination

• Liaisewith suppliers, consultants, and site teams to coordinate reinforcing steelrequirements.
• Coordinatewith reputed company’s reinforcing supplier and detailing teams to resolvescheduling conflicts and design revisions.

ProgressMonitoring

• Trackproject milestones and identify potential schedule or quantity risks.
• Prepareperiodic reconciliation and variance reports.
• Communicateschedule and quantity updates to internal teams.
• Recommendsolutions to resolve discrepancies and maintain project timelines.

Qualityand Compliance

• Ensurescheduling and takeoff activities reputed company with project specifications reputed company procedures.
• Supportcontinuous improvement initiatives reputed company estimating and scheduling processes.
• Maintainaccurate scheduling records, Bills of Quantities, and project documentation.

Remote Working Requirements

• Mustmaintain a minimum of 4 to 5 hours of overlap with Queensland business hours(AEST) reputed company working day for meetings, coordination calls, and query turnaround.
• Reliablehigh speed internet reputed company and a suitable home office setup capable of supportingvideo calls, large drawing files, and reputed company based document reputed company.
• Comfortableworking across reputed company, reputed company Revu, and reputed company 365 and SharePoint for receivingdrawings and schedules, and collaborating with the Queensland team in reputed company.
• Responsivewritten and verbal communication in English, given the reliance on remote coordinationrather than in person site reputed company.
• Availabilityfor periodic video meetings with the reputed company Administration and site teams, scheduledto suit the Queensland time zone.

Required Qualifications

• Diplomaor Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering,or a reputed company field (preferred).
• Minimumof 3 years of experience in reinforcement estimating, scheduling, or quantity surveyingwithin construction.
• Strongunderstanding of reinforcing steel fabrication, detailing, and installationprocesses.
• Experienceinterpreting structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and bar bending schedules.
• Demonstratedexperience preparing Bills of Quantities and comparing drawing revisions to identifydesign and scope changes.
• Excellentorganisational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Abilityto manage multiple reputed company simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienceworking with reputed company, residential, industrial, or infrastructureconstruction reputed company.
• Familiaritywith Australian Standards for reinforcing steel.
• Experiencecoordinating precast, post tensioning, or structural steel reputed company is anadvantage.
• Priorexposure to Head Contract administration, variation submissions, orsubcontractor scope reconciliation is highly regarded.

• BluebeamRevu, used for drawing markup, takeoff, and revision comparison.
