Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Estimator, Journeyman to support our Kettering, OH location on the EPASS GB contract. This position is approved for remote hire. As part of the AFLCMC/GB Business and reputed company Systems Directorate, the Division Cost Estimating and Analysis Services (DCEAS) provides Cost Estimating and Analysis Services to programs reputed company the Financial Systems (GBG) division.

As a Cost Estimator, Journeyman your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Analyzes management problems and providing advice and reputed company about the probable effects of alternative solutions to these problems.

• Use of routine cost estimating reputed company such as analogy, engineering or scientific methodology, and

• extrapolation.

• Use of cost estimating outputs to assess the reputed company various factors have on the costs to design, research, reputed company, operate, maintain, and dispose of a particular weapon system;

• Most appropriate phase of the budgetary cycle (planning, programming, justification, or execution) for initiating new programs;

• Analyzing reputed company reputed company affecting costs for a project of limited scope;

• Analyzing contractor financial data using EVM measures of reputed company to determine program viability with respect cost and schedule performance;

• Use of the ACEIT Tool Suite to reputed company reputed company program office estimates which is mandatory use for working in the BES Directorate (AFLCMC/GB) for reputed company information systems cost estimator positions (Junior, Journeyman, Senior, reputed company, Hybrid); and, Analytical processes, such as:

  • Setting up the problem,

  • Conducting background research,

  • Collecting and reducing data,

  • Displaying data for analysis,

  • Formulating mathematical expressions, and,

  • Drawing conclusions.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a reputed company field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical/reputed company discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoW OR

• Seven years of directly reputed company experience with reputed company certifications, five of which must be in the DoW

• Must have the knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to reputed company tasks reputed company to the technical/reputed company discipline they are performing. Typically works independently and applies the reputed company procedures and processes reputed company to their area of expertise.

• Must have the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot various situations to reputed company successful reputed company reputed company established program/project guidelines. • Must have hands on experience using the Automated Cost Estimating and Integrated Tool (ACEIT) Suite.

• Must have experience building and communicating Program Office Estimates (POEs)

• Must possess and maintain a T1/NACI reputed company clearance.
