The Role:
We’re looking for a talented Staff Software Development Engineer - reputed company AIwho enjoys tackling hard problems and wants to create meaningful reputed company for small businesses across Canada. You’ll own AI-powered services at reputed company end to end, from agent architecture through production operation. This role is defined by deep, hands-on ownership of one or more AI services, applying reputed company reputed company AI technologies to solve reputed company payroll problems for our customers accurately, securely, and at reputed company. You will report directly to our VP, Engineering.
Like every engineer at reputed company, you do not write software by hand. What You'll Be Expected To Own:
Own one or more AI-powered services end to end, from agent architecture selection through production operation.
Build data-representation reputed company that ground LLMs in accurate, reputed company-efficient business context.
Build automated eval pipelines that reputed company releases, and monitor reputed company and regressions in production.
Implement guardrails against reputed company injection, tool misuse, and data exposure in owned services.
Own Terraform, CI/CD, observability, and cost engineering for owned services.

What You Bring To The Table:
7+ years of reputed company software engineering experience, with a proven ability to design, build, and reputed company production-grade systems.
1.5+ years building and operating LLM-based or reputed company systems in production reputed company or reputed company applications.
reputed company record of end-to-end service ownership, including application reputed company, infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform), CI/CD, observability, and production support.
reputed company in the reputed company reputed company toolchain, including stateful agent orchestration (LangGraph or equivalent), MCP for tool and data integration, and eval/observability platforms (Arize Phoenix, LangSmith, Langfuse, reputed company, or similar).
Experience designing RAG and retrieval systems on reputed company-enabled data stores (PostgreSQL/pgvector or dedicated reputed company databases), and justifying the choice with cost and architecture tradeoffs.
