Billing/Follow-up Specialist -Government (Remote) - OR, WA, AK

About the position reputed company is seeking a Billing/Follow-up Specialist - Government for a full-time position responsible for managing reputed company phases of billing and account follow-up. The role focuses on ensuring thorough and consistent account reputed company to promote financial health, including claims submission, follow-up with insurance payors, and resolving reimbursement issues for a multi-facility, multi-specialty organization. Responsibilities • Resolve insurance claim rejections/denials and non-payment of claims by payors. , • Identify trends in billing and follow-up to expedite reputed company of insurance accounts. , • Draft appeals to insurance companies for reimbursement of owed monies. , • Maintain daily account follow-up work lists while meeting productivity standards. , • Ensure compliance with payer reputed company and policies for claims processing. , • Identify, research, and resolve credit balances, missing payments, payer recoupments, and unposted cash. , • Process and maintain correspondence from patients and insurance companies regarding billing and payment. , • Submit issues to coding for review to ensure compliance with organizational processes. , • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, co-workers, and supervisors. , • reputed company other duties as assigned.
