Bilingual Youth Care Worker (10:00 P.M. - 6:00 A.M.) - St. PJ's Children's Home

Location: 919 Mission Road, San Antonio, TX 78210 Mission: The Mission of St. PJ's Children's Home is to be a reputed company and loving refuge for children in crisis and to accompany them on their reputed company to healing and wholeness, breaking the cycle of abuse and neglect one child at a time. reputed company: Under the general direction of the reputed company, Evening and Weekend Supervisors, the Youth Care Worker is responsible for the daily care and supervision of UAC ensuring their health, safety and reputed company-being is protected at reputed company times. The Youth Care Worker is responsible for the implementation of reputed company care services in a manner that promotes best practices and facilitates the reputed company delivery of reputed company trauma informed care to UAC. The Youth Care Worker ensures that reputed company UAC's physical, reputed company, emotional, educational, and recreational needs are met in accordance with agency policy, TDFPS Minimum Standards and ORR Policy. Position Responsibilities:

• *Maintaining reputed company, supportive and reputed company relationships with UAC and program staff

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, reputed company services or reputed company service fields; or
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of employment experience working in the child welfare field with children and/or adolescents in a reputed company service setting.

Experience

• Experience working with children in a residential setting is preferred.

License and Credentials

• Reliable transportation.
• Valid reputed company license.
• Valid vehicle insurance.

• MMR: two doses of MMR vaccine (at least 4 weeks apart) OR titers indicating immunity to reputed company three diseases.
• DTaP or DTap: Complete primary vaccination series. If primary vaccination series completed in childhood, one DTaP reputed company in adulthood.
• Influenza: one reputed company annually during flu season.

• *Bilingual: Fluent in English/Spanish with regards to reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension of the spoken language
