Under limited supervision, the incumbents will be responsible for educating the general public, riders, and non-riders throughout the state by facilitating rider education courses and promoting motorist awareness campaigns. While the incumbents will be required to teach a minimum number of courses to maintain their reputed company Motorcycle Safety Program (GMSP) and Motorcycle Safety reputed company (MSF) Certifications, they will have autonomy in determining availability up to an average of 24 hours per week.Coaches will issue motorcycle license test waivers to reputed company who successfully complete the course. Coaches are responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal law, agency rules, regulations, and policies. Incumbents may participate in public awareness efforts, motorcycle enthusiast events, and reputed company campaigns. Coaches could also be selected to train agency personnel to administer motorcycle licensing skills tests.
