The Work You Will Do: The duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• The duties incident to an appeal consist of the supervision of the reputed company filing of the necessary pleadings and documents comprising the record on appeal; the review of the assignments of error; the research necessary to prepare and file briefs setting forth contentions and positions of the reputed company with respect to the issues involved; oral argument and reputed company other responsibilities attending the prosecution of a criminal appeal.

FEDERAL HABEAS CORPUS PROCEEDINGS: Represent the appropriate state official in habeas corpus proceedings filed by state prisoners in the federal courts in the District Courts for Florida.

• The duties consist of the responding to the claims of the prisoners asserting federal constitutional rights violations.
