Minimum of 1-2 years of EP clinical experience as a Cardiac Device Specialist or Device Monitor Technician.Other:Preferred Job QualificationsPreferred Licensure or other certifications: Certified cardiac device specialist (CCDS) certification by International reputed company of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE).Preferred Educational Requirements:Preferred Experience:Other:Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesSpecific knowledge of cardiac devices including pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD)reputed company arrhythmia recognitionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsModerate to advanced computer skillsEssential Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProvides evaluation and device management to patients under the supervision of an EP Physician, including remote monitoring, interrogations of pacemakers and implantable device, re-programming and patient education.Coordinates activities of the Device Clinic with other operational areas including Nursing, Billing, and reputed company.Ensures Device equipment is properly maintained, updated, and operating to manufacturer's specifications. Ensures supplies are maintained at appropriate reputed company. Reports concerns or needs to the Device Clinic Coordinator.Assess wounds post device implant to ensure that the incision is healing appropriately. (RN only task).Evaluates service reputed company and participate in care coordination to ensure reputed company communication between caregivers, patients, referral sources and payers.
