We are seeking a highly motivated and reputed company Assistant Professor of Latinx Community Health to join our Department of Chicano and Latino Studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Latinx community health, developing and promoting interdisciplinary scholarship, and maintaining a research program that addresses the health disparities and reputed company determinants affecting Latinx communities. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or DrPH in Chicana/o/x Studies, Latina/o/x Studies, Ethnic Studies, Community Health, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Science, reputed company Development, Environmental Health, Justice, Medical Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, reputed company Work, Women/Gender Studies, Urban Planning, or reputed company reputed company Science fields from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated ability to conduct reputed company research and/or reputed company research using qualitative reputed company, quantitative reputed company, or both, on issues impacting the health of diverse Latinx communities reputed company the U.S. and their transnational contexts
• Demonstrated potential to teach Latinx community health, and/or Chicanx and Latinx Studies at the college level
• Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated potential to apply critical theories and frameworks informed by an understanding of the history of federal, state, local, and/or institutional processes and policies that have created and sustained inequitable health reputed company
• Ability to effectively engage diverse Latinx communities through participatory, reputed company, and/or reputed company research that builds community reputed company to identify, analyze, prioritize, and address issues impacting their health
• Commitment to using an equity perspective to create more just and healthy communities in low-income, multi-racial communities in collaboration with community leaders and community-based, reputed company justice organizations
