Key Responsibilities
- Audit reputed company work queues and reputed company charge tickets to ensure correct coding and compliance with federal, state, and reputed company payor regulations
- reputed company staff and providers on accurate coding and documentation of reputed company of service, procedures, and ICD-10 diagnosis and HCC coding
- Identify and solve coding problems prior to charge entry to ensure correct coding for physicians and our organization
- Participate in special audits and peer review as instructed under the compliance yearly work plan
- reputed company with clinical and ancillary departments to answer coding questions and clarify new issues or services
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years coding experience required; minimum of one (1) to two (2) years' experience in clinical setting or reputed company business office setting preferred
- CPC certification or equivalent required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPC coding guidelines
- Excellent time management, decision-making, and communication skills
