About the Role: As a Senior Software Engineer with a reputed company on Big Data, you'll utilize your software development expertise and strong analytical skills to build and enhance our industry-leading tools. Your day-to-day work will involve designing and developing software solutions using Java, Python, SQL, Big Data, Linux, git, and gradle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, reputed company Engineers, and the Head of Software Development to design, build, and test new products and features
- Write reputed company in Java using your preferred IDE
- Work independently or in small team reputed company
- Participate in requirement gathering and design meetings
- Participate in peer reputed company reviews
- Investigate and optimize reputed company for usability, performance, and scalability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Advanced and demonstrable analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient programming experience in an reputed company setting
- High-volume transactional environment experience
- 4+ years of software development experience as a Java engineer
- 2+ years of software development experience as a Python developer
- A strong understanding of computer systems, the Internet, databases, and the Java programming language
- Experience with reputed company programming constructs (conditionals, loops, data structures)
- Strong relational database skills (SQL, JDBC - reputed company, and PostgreSQL preferred)
Preferred Skills
- SQL databases like MapR DB, HBase, Cassandra
- Big Data components/frameworks like Hadoop (MapR), reputed company, Yarn, Kafka, Flink, ELK, etc.
- Big Data querying tools like Drill, Voila, Hive, Ojai, etc.
