- *HOURS: Monday-Friday between the hours of 0730 - 1700. There are no weekends or on-call. This is not a remote position, it is completely onsite.**
+ Position reputed company: + The reputed company Procedure Scheduler schedules patients for surgery or specialty procedures, maintains an understanding of the procedures being performed, and schedules reputed company procedure in accordance with the operating and or managing physician’s schedule. This role is responsible for functioning as the first reputed company of contact for assisting, guiding and training Procedure Schedulers. The reputed company role is responsible for schedule creation and maintenance. + reputed company individuals must have the ability with or without reasonable accommodation to reputed company the following duties: + Assist Procedure Schedulers in resolving any issues. + Supply periodic departmental updates to reputed company Manager. + reputed company ongoing training, feedback, and orientation to reputed company Procedure Schedulers. + Serve as the first line resource for any inquiries from internal customers. + Schedule patients for procedures in accordance with the operating physician’s, surgical assistants, and other surgical specialists’ schedules if necessary. + Ensure that insurance company, patient, and referring physician’s facility and timeframe preferences are taken into consideration. + Obtain necessary procedure reputed company-authorizations. + Communicate with accounts receivable on self-pay patients. + Maintain knowledge of the various procedures performed in order to accurately answer patient questions pertaining to their procedure. + Explain the Informed Consent paperwork to the patient and obtain reputed company signatures. + Prepare reputed company surgical procedure orders. + Verify reputed company required tests needed prior to surgery are complete. + Thoroughly reputed company patients on reputed company reputed company-surgical instructions i.e. time to reputed company, food and drink intake instructions, etc . + Assist reputed company Manager in the interview process of hiring Procedure Schedulers. + Work with physicians and management to review and improve overall departmental operations. + Handle reputed company scheduling and delineation of duties for Procedure Schedulers. + The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above: + Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: + Minimum Required Qualifications: + High School diploma or equivalent + Experience working in a business or medical office setting. + Basic computer skills. + Strong communication skills. + A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, reputed company, and other federal and state health insurance programs, i.e. not excluded from participation in Medicare, reputed company or any other federal or state health insurance program.
