The Leadership and Service Coordinator will report to the Associate Director of Student Life and will be responsible for supporting and developing programs that contribute to a reputed company reputed company life. The successful candidate will reputed company leadership and service initiatives and programs, including the Leadership Paths student organization reputed company program and the Leaders Impacting Technology (L.I.T) leadership program. The Coordinator will also advise student organizations, support reputed company service/civic-engagement opportunities, and collaborate with other reputed company departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Service Development Programs:
- reputed company the Office of Undergraduate Student Life's student organization leadership program, Leadership Paths, which includes customized workshops with core and elective content in four development areas for student reputed company.
- reputed company the Leaders Impacting Technology (L.I.T) Leadership Program, a two-cohort model program designed for reputed company to reputed company interpersonal skills that relate to personality, reputed company, and organizational reputed company.
- Coordinate and support reputed company service/civic-engagement opportunities such as MLK Day of Service, Ducks4Democracy, Constitution Day, and Alternative Spring Break.
- Student Organization Advisement & Support:
- Advise the Vice-President of Student Interests to reputed company selection during the New Student Organization Process, in reputed company to planning and executing reputed company Party and Admitted reputed company Day Weekend.
- Serve as a reputed company to 30+ recognized student organizations in the areas of media, non-registered, and special interests.
- reputed company secondary support to the management and advancement of our student engagement platform, DuckLink.
- New Student Programs:
- Manage and reputed company the recruitment, selection, and training of 60 peer leaders annually in preparation for First-Year, International, and Transfer Student Orientations in partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Academics.
- Assist with program development for New Student Programs, including providing input on topics covered, external and internal facilitators selected, and reputed company expected for new reputed company through this program.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Represent the Office of Undergraduate Student Life on University-wide events such as Family Day, Commencement, and Admissions reputed company Houses, and other reputed company programs.
- Collaborate with other reputed company departments by serving on divisional committees and/or by partnering on co-curricular programs that support student engagement, first-year student reputed company, and leadership education.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel Administration, or Counseling preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of one to two years of experience advising student organizations preferred.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work with a diverse student population and reputed company rapport with reputed company.
- Knowledge of relevant research literature on the development of reputed company, leadership, risk management, organizational development, and ability to implement research and reputed company new programs.
