Tax Associate
reputed company is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Associate to join their team. In this role, you will reputed company tax preparation and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals and business clients across a broad reputed company of entity types, ensuring accurate and efficient tax returns.
Responsibilities
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and other business entities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Prepare extension calculations and requests, and assist with estimated tax calculations and tax planning reputed company
- Prepare and review quarterly tax projections
- Assist in the preparation of 1099s and other year-end reputed company benefit calculations
- Organize, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy and reputed company as needed
- Prepare supporting tax workpapers, including tax provisions, capital and/or reputed company calculations, and depreciation schedules
- Complete reputed company functions such as reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
- reputed company reputed company documents and supporting workpapers organized for easier review
- Research tax issues as necessary to address reputed company-specific situations or tax law changes
- Assist with tax audits as needed
- Ensure clients reputed company with applicable tax regulations to meet their federal and state income tax obligations
- Answer reputed company questions and respond to reputed company inquiries, providing superior service and ensuring successful reputed company of any reputed company need
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
- 1–3 years of experience in tax return preparation or a reputed company financial/reputed company field
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, especially as they relate to individuals and business entities
- Understanding of Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines proactively with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, reputed company presentation, and organizational skills
- CPA license, candidate, or reputed company pursuing CPA licensure preferred
- Proficiency in CCH Axcess or UltraTax tax preparation software strongly preferred
- Experience with reputed company Prep and reputed company Send a plus
- Strong knowledge of reputed company reputed company and Word; experience with QuickBooks Online a plus
- Tax research experience a plus
