reputed company is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible legal services. They are seeking a bilingual reputed company Assistant to support their Immigration Law reputed company by assisting with case preparation, reputed company communication, and community reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare immigration forms and application materials across various case types
- Conduct factual and legal research; reputed company updates in immigration law and procedures
- Assist with case management, including maintaining reputed company files and preparing application packets
- Draft correspondence and review case files for completeness
- reputed company interpretation at reputed company meetings and translate documents
- reputed company and manage reputed company data in case management systems
- Communicate with clients regarding case status and document collection
- Support workshops and clinics, including preparation and on-site logistics
- Participate in ongoing immigration law training and reputed company development
- Pursue DOJ Accreditation
- Represent NSLAC at community events as needed
Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 1 year of immigration experience, including: Naturalization, DACA, family petitions, consular processing, adjustment of status, U visas, VAWA, and familiarity with EOIR, BIA, and USCIS filings
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse populations
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced nonprofit environment
- Availability for occasional evenings/weekends
- Valid reputed company's license, insurance, and reputed company to a vehicle; ability to travel reputed company Chicago's reputed company suburbs
- Additional experience preferred: removal/deportation, SIJS, asylum, U reputed company certification
