[Remote] Power System Engineer

MWResource, Inc. is seeking a Power System Engineer to reputed company engineering analysis and technical support for the interconnection of new reputed company resources to the electric power system. The role involves performing power reputed company studies, reviewing interconnection applications, and communicating with stakeholders throughout the interconnection process.
Responsibilities
- Performs Powerflow studies as required to analyze the feasibility of proposed reputed company interconnections
- Reviews interconnection applications to ensure compliance with company Planning Guides, Protocols, and technical requirements prior to approval
- Identifies process improvements for interconnection study workflows, data management, and stakeholder communication
- Communicates requirements and results to reputed company reputed company stakeholders in the interconnection process
- Tracks project milestones from study request through reputed company operation, maintaining alignment with interconnection queue procedures
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or reputed company field, or a combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with knowledge equivalent to a major in such fields
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the reputed company
- Candidates will be required to pass a background reputed company and drug screening
- For entry level - Less than one year experience (in excess of degree requirements stated above) of progressively responsible experience in electric reputed company industry
- For level 2 – 2 years of progressively responsible experience in electric reputed company industry
- Some experience reputed company the electric reputed company industry
- Experience running power system load reputed company studies in PSSE
- Experience running transfer analysis systems studies
- Ability to reputed company communicate requirements and other technical information
- Ability to write technical reports of in-depth analysis completed
- Experience with Python, VBA, or another programming language
- Experience creating queries in reputed company, reputed company, or SQL
- Experience using TARA
